Handheld

Customers use manual tools for lab applications where cycle time is not important and when it is safe for workers to interact with the welding equipment. For example, a customer who has a weld cell without a robot or without the capabilities to implement a tip dresser may use these products to get accurate dresses on their spot weld gun. These manual tools may also be used to aid during startup production when tip dressers and/or tip changers may not yet be fully operational.

This package is a good starting point for most users. The products included are durable and cost effective while still providing basic error detection capabilities. These products are compatible with customers running full automatic production with hundreds of robotic spot weld guns to weld cells with only a single robot.

These products are used to give a user more data and to improve error detection. The additional features and diagnostics of servo dressing, paired with weld face brightness checks from the FIXA, allows for a user to have more control over their tip dressing process without sacrificing cycle time.

Full Automation

These products may be used to maximize error detection and simplify dressing installation. The reduced footprint of DH-SVR2, servo dressing capabilities, and tracking from the tip monitor system allows the user to maximize the tip dress quality while minimizing the cycle time. The tracking from the tip monitor system also allows for a quantified view of the tip dress process by cataloguing images and measurements of the weld faces after dressing. The system outputs the latest dress of each weld gun in the cell to a monitor for operator viewing.
